At the start of the school year, I open my Degustabox and it’s always a nice and pleasant moment to discover new products. There are well-known brands that we appreciate and others less known that are to be discovered. We already want to eat everything, of course with certain preferences! In this box, my favorite goes to Gerblé corn cakes. We are already fans of rice cakes but more in the sweet version. So there we were very quickly curious to discover what it looked like in a salty version. Well it’s delicious, tasty, not too salty or cloying, a kind of healthy crackers! I received the Olive and Herbs from Provence flavor but we already want to taste the whole range here !
I present the other products of the box below, but first if you are interested in testing the Degustabox, you will find information here or on social networks fb, instagram,Youtube or their blog full of recipes here, and contact me to get a PROMO CODE DEGUSTABOX which will entitle you to a € 5 reduction on your first box (€ 15.99 without reduction).
I received in my re-entry box:
* 1 pack of GERBLÉ corn cakes, my favorite as explained above.
* 1 pack of JORDAN’S cereals, Organic Country Crisp Oats & Golden Barley. Delicious cereals with an incomparable crunch, I taste them without milk while nibbling, I also regret that these cereal nuggets become a muesli as the package is tasted.
* 1 pack ofBio Detox ELEPHANT infusion (hibiscus, lemon balm, mulberry leaves), not yet tasted but nice packaging with a very girly pink!
* 1 sausage (dry sausage) BROCÉLIANDE, really excellent, very fine, perfect for an aperitif, a very good product.
* 2 bottles of ST MAMET compote, velvety apple, passion & mango compote. The velvety is very pleasant and the taste is there.
* 1 pack of Soya Chocolate drink ALPRO, the format is practical with its retractable straw in addition, but we did not like the taste of this drink at all.
* 2 briquettes of VITAMONT carrot juice. Despite our very fresh tasting, we don’t like carrot juice, hence my recycling with the recipe for my bread below.
* 1 pack of MILKA Tender Break shortbread cookies. With his chocolate heart, he is irresistible (at least for my daughters)!
* 1 bag of WONDERFUL pistachios, here the Sweet Chili variety, the pistachios are really excellent, the Chili taste is moderate and appreciable.
* 2 HEINEKEN alcohol-free beers, a non-alcoholic beer, especially from Heineken, it’s hard to imagine! They are cool but not yet tested.
* 1 tablet of VILLARS chocolate, here the 100g Blond Pure bar, it is a very good chocolate but I found it a little cloying, a square is enough to appreciate the caramel and biscuit side of blond chocolate. The tablet is nicely decorated.
And to recycle my VITAMONT carrot juice, the recipe for my casserole bread which didn’t work at all (yeast problem I think) but it rained a lot with a real carrot taste!
The recipe that works bread Casserole is here!
For 1 loaf, you will need:
33cl of VITAMONT carrot juice
10g of salt
1 tablespoon of oil
1 tablespoon of sugar
500g of T.55 flour
1 sachet of baker’s yeast
Put the ingredients in your robot equipped with the hook or in your bread maker or do it by hand.
When the dough is homogeneous, let rise for 1 hour in a warm place away from drafts.
At the end of this time, degas the dough and shape a ball.
Preheat the casserole dish and its lid to 250 °.
Place the dough in the hot casserole dish, cover and cook for 20min at 200 °.
Then remove the lid and cook for another 15min.
Unmold and place on a wire rack.
Let cool and enjoy!
